Oscar Wilde as a storyteller

THE BLIND MAN WHO COULD SEE CLEAR.
There was a young sculptor who loved a woman so deeply that he couldn't see her ugliness. In the meawhile the woman loved a talent musician, who, despite his blindness, perceived how awful the woman was. One day the blind man was explaining to the woman why he was refusing her and the sculptor could hear all the stuff. Suddenly he realized the woman's physical ugliness and left her. Then she understood how much she loved him, but it was too late.
