Teaching Skills: What 21st Century Educators Need To Learn To Survive

It is time for school, but what kind of school? Is teachers' class ready to face the new kids?
The first question is : are teachers digital users? because the new students are digital natives and just some of their teachers are digital immigrants.
What does it mean? The way of learning has changed in the new students and they get bored with ancient methods of teaching, I mean, chronological reading, page after page. They prefer jumping from a content to another one connected to it using the same tool that is personal computer.
So it is very hard to communicate with people who do not use pen and pencil while studying.
It is really another world.
But try to experience that kids' world and you'll enjoy yourself, you'll feel nearer to them and then they'll be able to learn what you teach.

  1. Our life is changing more fast as we can think. The changes involve a lot of things(for example work, school, family). The life goes more fast now than before(for example now we have to do in one hour all that we did in two hours). The life rhythm acceleration make the people feels bad. They are more stressed. As life, the school education and the teaching ways have changed. The students are more attracted from new tecnologies(for example computer),so I think to understand the students the teachers have to the joung's world.Only so we can make a better school.

  2. It's a kind of school where the studients work through the computer science. For me the teachers' class are not sill ready to face the new kids. A lot of times the teachers are not digital users and have problems. So it is very hard to communicate with kids who do not use pen and pencil while studing.
I hope that kids and teachers are working well through the computer science.
