  1. These are three of the most important places in Palermo which neither do we don’t often know the history very well or we don’t live them properly.

The market called « Il capo » with « BallarĂ² » and « Vucciria » markets are three of the most ancient market of food and not only of the city. Narrate it that the famous history of Beati Paoli sect beetween the the seventeenth and the eighteenth century it used to meet in secret in the underground of these streets really. The atmosphere that still today in these markets you can perceive is magic and unique thanks to the varied cultures that we can come up against especially in the foodstuffs.

The Cathedral of Palermo that through the century has been undergone many modifications, restructurings and extensions has a history that start even from Saracens. The cathedral that reflects the soul of the city with her different styles is also famous for her crypt that contains roman graves and sarcophagi. It’ s also the place where we students of near school meet together and we can sit down in the benchs to admire the beautiful gardens and the particular atmosphere.

  2. I think Palermo really is original town in fact when anyone walks tortuous paths of the center, notices of the unparalleled architectural settings, many evidence of a past not so far, architectural and cultural identity, even extraordinary Beautyfull.
Moreover Palermo is fomous for markets for example BallarĂ², where activity is frenetic and continues:the morning begins with the presentation of the stalls and continued until late evening, when sellers dismantle, but a Palermo market is more of a market, ie a place where they sell food and where you go to buy. It 'a vision, a dream, a mirage that is why I feel really connected to my city ..

  3. The city of Palermo has several landscaped areas each with unique characteristics.
The Cape is one of the most famous neighborhoods and markets of Palermo. Here you can find the best freshly caught fish and vegetables from our lands, but also other types of products. Many tourists come to visit this popular landmark of the city as well as the BallarĂ² market. These markets exhibit unique characteristics thanks to the presence of different ethnicities.
It is easy to reach, it is behind one of the largest theaters of Europe Massimo.
Another of the most beautiful places of Palermo and the Cathedral. It was built in stages and this has several architectural features. When you look at this structure remains fascinated by its majesty and mixing of different styles that I think makes it unique. Also visited this cathedral as well as for its function monument for his garden where children often gather.
Villa Bonanno is a magnificent garden Bonanno's Mayor, who then gave her his name. It is located in Piazza della Vittoria behind Norman Palace. It is characterized by the presence of palms and busts of famous people of Palermo. You can go there for a walk and then relax and enjoy the view.

  4. Palermo it's certainly the most fascinating city of the mediterranean area! Who live in this city is a very lucky person: only here you can found a enourmous quantity of monuments, museum, historical buildings and wonderful streets.

The most important religious buidings it's the chatedral, placed in Corso Vittorio Emanuele. This structure it's the results of a series of modification (during many centuries), so you can observe the presence of different styles and elements. The cathedral it's one of the encounter point of the city; in this place the young people (also for the presence of many school) decide to meet here. Morover it rappresents an important tourist destination.

Another beautiful place is Villa Bonanno: it's a garden in the centre of the city, a oasis where you can relax and rest. There are a lot of trees (particulary palms). The position it's favourable, infact around this garden there are some important buildings: palazzo dei normanni, the cathedral and piazza indipendenza!

Finally I think that Palermo is a magic city, you can fell this extraordinary atmosphere walking around the streets of the historical centre (particularly in the capo), also the people who live in this beautiful city are friendly and likeable. Moreover when a person walk in this places remains hit by the enormous variety of colours and the smells. The gastronomy of Palermo is very good because the ingredients are excellents. For these reasons walking in the streets it's a pleasure!!!!
