In Dubai the sun never sets

Dubai  is located south of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula; it is part of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates.
In Dubai, everything is bigger, more beautiful. Through artificial islands , spectacular hotels and leisure complexes and shopping , Dubai tips with great determination to convert the world center of commerce and luxury tourism. A goal that brought a building boom never been before in the world.
The Palm Jumeirah is an artificial island completely created by man from the original form of palm occupying measure 5 km in width and height. For its construction there were used 7 million cubic meters of rock and 94 million cubic meters of sand.
The island connected to the mainland by a bridge 300 meters and an underwater tunnel is the holiday island par excellence. Then it presents 500 apartments, 2,000 villas, 25 hotels and 200 shops of luxury. Among the highlights of the island are the mammoth Atlantis Hotel and the Trump International Hotel and Tower financed by Donald Trump.
However there were found through a substantial debt. For these reasons it isn’t never been called into question the 'solvency' of Dubai World, which therefore has not encountered any particular difficulty to borrow money (now has a debt of about $ 59 billion, of which 30 would be sourced from the major banking groups Europeans). However, when the crisis is going to touch some key markets for the Arab company, this mechanism has not been sustainable. Just think of the decline of tourism and international trade and the fall in property prices that has not spared even the so-called 'New York of the Gulf'.

Like Las Vegas in Nevada, has developed in the desert, only that the first is the stronghold of the economy and the gaming of the East, while the second is the outpost of the West. Las Vegas, although is doubtless is a city forbidden to people under 18 years, an unprejudiced city because of its locals and casinos it’s the ideal destination for everyone for its streets illuminated by many neon and billboards that give a touch of charming that also attracts the kids. Las Vegas isn’t only this, it’s more and more, it’s a giant money-maker, one of the pearls of America for its hotels and the tourism following that bring hundreds of billions of dollars every year if not many more.
Well, we can say that Dubai is the Oriental Las Vegas, built in desert, a tourist destination not to be missed and a real money-maker. The only difference is that Dubai, in our opinion, is open to all ages, Dubai can be lived fully in all ages.

Will it always be so?

Would you go to Dubai on holiday?

What do you think of the rapid development in recent times of the Middle Eastern countries?

  1. We like a lot these places and these pictures. While we're watching the pictures, we think about life in Dubai and Las Vegas. These are 2 of the most beautiful places of the world and we really want to go there, but life is too expensive. However it's a great article.
