Oscar Wilde's stories

The cruel charity
A young poet, who did not understand the value of money , quickly squandered his father's heredity. So he started to get into debts and he lost all his heritage. When his friends understood his situation, they decided to help him and paid off his debts. Moreover, the closer one offered to give him 100 pounds if he had gone to Australia to start a new life there. Two months later the friend noticed a familiar face in Piccadilly, it was the poet! He approched him disgusted and asked him why he hadn't gone to Australia. So the poet tried to explain himself saying that no one would have gone there if he had had 100 pounds.

The group is composed bay Carla, Eleonora, stefano and Marco.
