I really enjoyed reading this article about Masika. She was and she is the example of courage and strenght that a woman can possess. She will be remembered in the Congo as a heroine who has saved hundreds of women, from the violence and constant rape suffered by men, who still believe that women are inferior, risking many times her own life. She managed to spread hope, thanks also to the association, dedicated to her, which helps women victims of violence and children born from these circumstances, promising them a peaceful life.
