I have chosen the painting "The Burning of the Houses of Lords and Commons" by William Turner.
When I saw this painting what I had felt was admiration and fear, and this is a perfect example of the astonishment (an effect of the sublime by Burke). So in this painting I have found the beautiful part of nature (on the right) and the scary part of nature (on the left), represented by the fire. In conclusion my emotions were in conflict like the colours of this painting. Erika Schiera
